Alaskan Winter

As you can probably guess we get a lot of snow up here in Alaska. In 2008 there was 1/2" of snow on October 5th. Usually it snows in late October and doesn't leave until Late May. It also stays dark much longer in the winter. Sunrise is around 10am and sunset is around 4pm. It can get depressing and we still haven't gotten used to it.
